Fact Check: Keeping Your Insurance
The President just said that Obamacare will allow individuals to keep their health insurance coverage. But according to the Administration’s own estimates, half of all employers – and as many as 80% of small businesses – will be forced to give up their current coverage by 2013 – that’s next year. Even according to the Administration’s cost estimates, its onerous regulations will force most businesses to give up their current plans, thus subjecting them to costly new mandates that will increase premiums.
